Aye. Been snowing quite heavy here over the last two hrs. Surprised there is no snow warning. Had one yesterday but got no snow. None today and most prolonged we have had this whole spell.

I think because it's the weekend they are more reluctant to issue warnings.

This snow could keep going all morning

It's nice, but I hope it doesn't accumulate too much, although doesn't seem to be lying on the roads or pavements here. I have the Pool Interleague to go to, at least its only in Newtownards this year lol

Prob right but the other half is bringing the wee one to ballet and she say the roads are pretty bad in places. I mean it’s been snowing heavy here last few hrs. My car has maybe more than 3cms in just over 2hrs  so far and as you say it could go on a wee bit yet.

It’s totally unexpected to be fair. Light snow yes but not this. Which is great of course.

According to Met Eireann, temperatures remain close to zero over Ulster with a band of rain moving northward across the country. Hopefully that will lead to further snowfall up north.

I’m hoping to get some snow out of it here. Fingers crossed ?

Lambing already in parts Bob! Totally agree bring on the spring

Ah Pom. U would have loved this today. Not your normal shower crap that we normally ge but continuous moderate snow. Been going on now over 5hrs ! But showing signs of stopping soon. Hoping that blob above Dublin heads this way as well. Could be in line for round 2 if it did. ?

But Neiller that’s the point we would’ve loved it but we’re sitting freezing our boxxxcks off and it’s still mostly green outside and we’ll have to hear about Feb/March 2018 snow storm for the next 50 years.

Very true. Shame this didn’t reach u this morn as it was really good.

Started to snow here again so that band from Dublin earlier has tracked north a Wee bit by looks of radar.
