Red warning out for Scotland,,,,lucky sods

Aye, not even sure why we have a yellow to be honest. Pretty dire. That's me done unless things change. Here is the Euro4 snow accumulation chart. It is high res and fairly decent. Think it says it all really. This is total accumulation over the next 48 hours.

Continuous snow showers here with blizzard like conditions. I would say we have had about 10cm easily.

This is bliss

This is the craic lads!

About 10cm now in total, some peppery streamers every hour or so!

I think your area is favoured as the wind remains North Easterly, becoming more Easterly. The Dublin area will continue to see snow piling in I think.

I'm in north Louth and it's being snow showers all morning. Turing slighly more easterly now. More of the coast on target now, looking at Hirlam and other sites I don't no what to predict. For Northern Ireland east coast looking better now lads on Radar, not heavy but better than nothing.

The radar is absolutely fascinating at the minute, for some reason showers are only starting/building when they pass lough Neagh.

Definitely a more easterly now as the streamers have more or less dried up. Direct easterlies not great for us, showers become more sporadic, but absolutely no complaints from me, having a blast with the kids here, as all schools are closed.

There is a yellow warning for Donegal atm.

I'm still hoping for a bit to come our way. Seeing some of the pictures from around the country has me feeling left out :-(.

Lovely line of streamers coming straight at Omagh now. I'd say the M1 would be dodge enough now. Very heavy precip showing over the A5 from Ballygawley to Omagh, too.
