Temp is due to go up as front approaches but quickly get cold again as front is pushing through changing it to snow. Will def start as rain. But it’s anybodys  guess if it comes off

Hey Watcher! Long time and all that jazz.

Hey Baltic. I'm always lurking around seeing whats happening. Between having pool games, pipe band, the little minion and work I hardly get time to contribute much.

Hoping to catch just a good heavy bout of snow. If only they'd fix the lampost outside my house. haha

Good to see you back Watcher, hopefully in time for an epic Easterly.

Hopefully, I am of course still on the fence for that one, especially in regards to it being potent enough for not just an Eastern Mainland event. It's all dependant on where exactly this HP decides to set-up. Don't want it too close for comfort. This week will be one big rollercoaster for those latching on to every model run.

In Derry it's windy and according to radar something should be dropping from the sky but nothing at the minute , it feels too warm for it to be snow if it did so I'm expecting rain but that will be strange on the 4 inches of snow in the garden :fool:

They had taken it down. Looks the same to me with just a new issued at time. The snow ice warning is gone tho. That advisory still mentions snow and possible accumulations tho.

Belmullet on the west coast coldest met eireann station at 1c. I don't think I ever seen it as the Coldest location in my life. Gfs had it to be 5c at 10pm, can't see what the projection was for 9 but seems colder earlier that thought. Good sign.

Real sletty mix, ppn so heavy wouldn't take much more cold to turn that to straight up snow , think it's an East side thang tonight, I will leave the freezer open to see if that helps you easties out :hi:

the strong wind and higher temps have really eaten into the snowpack here in the last few hours.
