What do you think about tomorrow morning's rush hour?

Possible 3 or 4 hours of heavy snow from 5 to 9?

Probably be a slush fest.

The front is just approaching the west of Ireland, based on SAT24.  It doesn't seem to be moving to quick.

Would be great to get the colder air dig in a lot earlier than 5am. Could be a few surprises tomorrow morning.

That’s exactly what I think will happen weegaz. But most of us will prob be in bed when some snow is falling

Yes it looks that way but BBC and meto are so at odds it’s bizarre! So confusing for people.

Anyway next set of runs shortly and I think changes will start to gather momentum very soon

As temps drop this evening and into darkness this could also be a possibility?

Could well do you never know we have a rapid melt going on here today.

Best snow in 3 years for this part of Derry anyway. That spell in December was basically frozen hail, not nearly as much snow on the pavements as there was today. Too bad its melting in the sun and most of it has dissapeared though still a lot in shaded grass. Hopefully this front delivers more surprises for some

Angies bbc forecast shows a good bit of rain with back edge snow but national bbc shows a good bit of snow! Do they not get their data from the same place???? Conflicting wouldn’t be in it.

No no they do, its just that the nationals are zoomed out and are in low-res intentionally. The quality is different (worse) so things are obscure when zoomed out, something that MeteoGroup need to fix ASAP if they want to save their reputation.

Maybe the models are starting to sober up a bit. The last week of Feb would be the best guess I think for any cold spell to get going.

yeah, from the get go some were saying that this would be a quick unexpected easterly in the semi-reliable rather than out in FL which it has been all year lol

The front has now started reaching the far west of Ireland, some greens showing up but the main front is rain.

Will be interesting to see how it develops as it pushes further east through the evening and into tonight. Will be interesting at my locations from 5am onwards. Would be good to see pinks appearing in the west as it progresses eastwards and for the cold air to uncut and give decent accumulations for east

Tomorrow morning rush hour will be fun if the attached comes off.
