You really have to laugh st the automated forecasts. Iv gone from heavy snow to rain and just recently light snow. They are comical but also worthless. No doubt they will go to rain again then snow then sleet next 3 updates.

9pm-10pm onwards is when the colder air starts digging in you can see it on the 850s temp

http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/royaume-uni/850-hpa/3h.htm

Been hovering between 1.5c and 2.0c for the last hour.

At least the wind is calm unlike Tuesday.

Was snowing a good bit this afternoon in Antrim.

Got a pic of these ducks chilling.

They are heading in an almost west to east direction. Those big blobs look to be heading straight to my front door!

The only positive I can see is that the showers appear to be slow moving and the clear skies are allowing temperatures to drop. That might mean a better situation to Tuesday, provided we get showers.

Precipitation is dying away before it reaches Dublin, so unless they intensify I’ll see nowt! Still buzzing from 2 nights ago, mind you!!!
