Ireland Regional Weather Discussion 16/01/2018 Onwards

One thing about the weather is expect the unexpected. Iv sat here when rain was forecast and got snow and Vice Versa so anything could happen this eve as it’s so marginal. One thing for sure I don’t think it’s the last of the snow this year. Met update continually mentions possible snow in north and also wintery showers right through their outlook.

True.

It has been a decent enough Winter so far, with plenty frosts and snowfall in December  and January.

Which radar is that? 

Meteoradar is all rain at the moment.

High Temp today 3.6c but back down to 1.8c and dew @ 0.5c

Shame it will be rain for the majority

Latest reports from Omagh = RAIN RAIN RAIN

No sign of any hint of sleet at all!

Heading home now shortly so will be interesting to see if the 100m increase in altitude will make any difference.
