Hehe, I hoped nobody would notice before I edited.

Just spotted those showers sat motionless just off the coast of Newcastle/Middlesbrough, is that the pint where the leading edge of this front is going to stall?

 I’ll have a beer.

I think the front will arrive about 5-6am, so no point sitting here tonight like this:

:shok:

Get some sleep first

Wonder if it will do a bit of pepping up over the Irish sea.... either way I'm not expecting much going from the Meto Warning and BBC forecasts.  Maybe a dusting to the usual surfaces.  A tricky start to the morning commute.

Tomorrow won’t be disappointing.

expecting nothing and will end up getting nothing so last minute downgrades don’t matter

You will need more than one tomorrow after yet another let down.

Yes I think you could be right. Our local Irish weather just updated has said band is losing intensity and will fragment moving east just giving a few flurries. That’s a huge shift in 3 hours. Just shows the block to the east is having a greater say than first thought. I’m not sure it will reach you guys at all now.

Well on the bright side whatever reaches here will be snow, no doubt about that. The only real unknown is how strong the block is.. it may be too strong to allow anything more than a dusting for many. The ironic thing is, the best places to be might be on a ferry in the middle of the Irish sea sailing to Dublin from Holyhead at 6am.

A spell of rain looking more likely on Thursday quickly followed by colder air and Wintry showers.

Mild sector is squeezed out, and so is the moisture. Looks like a dusting at best event tomorrow really.
