Don't worry you lot didn't miss anything. In Northern Ireland we've had snow off and on all night and none has stuck below 150-200metres.

Despite temperatures hovering around freezing.

Lots of hail up here with some snow.

Sky going dark in the distance and approaching fast.

Heavy hail then grauple then snow then hail now grauple again all in 10 minutes and it’s still going would say it was snow now yes I can clearly see flakes but very light. Snow proper snow.

Seriously though I would not expect any snow on Low ground until Mid afternoon/Early Evening.

The low just a tiny bit further south on the 06z. It won't make any difference though. I'm guessing curtains for that.

I wouldn't be too sure. There is still a good spread in the ensembles and as we know the last slider (yes, this isn't a slider) changed within 24 hours still.  Yes, not hopeful but all hope isn't lost just yet. Let's see what the mean comes out at?
