Morning all

Just been in touch with Guiness world record to ask if this is the slowest front in History.

Just had an E mail back thanking me for my enquiry:D

C.S

Dunno about slowest but it is moving weirdly. Pulling moisture from north almost like circulation. Latest fax shows that ppn overnight as an occlusion and this one is also an occlusion

Getting a bit heavier now, little bit bigger flakes. Proper powder snowflakes.

Not sure how long its been snowing here, but it is very light and not sticking to roads; but a nice cover is developing on trees and grass etc. Looks like 2-3 hours of persistant snow ahead then fizzling out. The front is stalling.

Finally a half decent covering! Only took 5 years! Still snowing now, although very wet and not adding to the total, looks like there's maybe 1.5cm on grass but only a wafer thin dusting on some concrete surfaces, hasn't stuck to the road.

Nice fine snow been falling for a couple of hours. It’s quite heavy but very small flakes. If it keeps going for another couple of hours could get a decent covering.
