Lots of echoes breaking out ahead of the main band on the radar. I'm presuming these are false returns?

Was quite light out before - even saw to bottom of garden. Skies have darkened quite a lot now A sign of things to come?

We had ice pellets at first now its snowing lightly, sticking everywhere  except to concrete

If this stays as snow and doesn't melt it'll be easily be our best snowfall since jan 2013

 I know no one is interested ATM but GFS has upgraded the longevity and strength of the polar maritime shots for Friday and Monday, the second one starts on Sunday now.

About an hour before it hits you i would imagine, another 3 for me, looks to be breaking up a bit but i guess thats to be expected..
