How do I block people on here?

Our next weather warning for next week will probably be a RED one covering the whole region (except Buxton) with the words MASSIVE LETDOWN!!! Dated 5th - 9th Feb.

So true! Great post, hope everyone takes note.

sorry guys and I know I am hugely unpopular on this forum but.... Tuesdays snowfall potential has been massively downgraded and continues to do so. For my location what was originally forecasted as virtually a whole day of heavy snow has been whittled down to just a couple of hours in the morning which may give a cm or two. I would fully expect this predicted forthcoming snow and cold event to be a huge let down just like the previous ones this winter....its a trend. Sorry guys I know you do not like me but am honest....and I have been right all winter so far.

If you are talking snow to early to predict next week, however disagree this will be the coldest shot of winter so far,I certainly dont recall any -10 HAP this winter,so penetrating overnight frost and day time temperature of +2  or 3c pretty cold in my book, also don' put yourself down it your opinion and you are entitled to you point of view.

People in model thread doing my nut in with the  constant ramps of disruptive and feet of snowfall.

Looks a fairly benign cold week with the cold slacking later.

A cm or two in places that see it with frosts the main story.

I've never bought into this easterly phase with big snow chances because it's never been shown.

Maybe the next cycle mid month onwards. Aarrrrrrgh.Sorry had to get that off my chest lol.

Its because they have invested so much time and hope into what had looked (and still maybe) an epic cold spell,  their brains just arent prepared to accept it might be watered down, they eventually accept it, but  the initial signs of a downgrade always get the same reaction...denial.

Ive not seen a single post mentioning feet of snow and a few cms of snow can be disruptive.

Im glad you made stuff up to argue against it thiu otherwise your post would have been silly

I share your scepticism....tuesday looks a bit iffy.... to early to call thurs fri..but i fear the worst.....im not giving up yet though ...lets hope the ecm  sticks with its earlier output..another backtrack and i fear a frustrating cold spell, not the same without some decent snow.

That's why I rarely post in there, I messaged one of the mods asking why my post was removed once, they said I was cherry picking, yet it was still a bloody chart I posted and not a fictional squirrel!

John Holmes replied to someone mentioning feet of snow and is like to see you show me what shows that.

You need to take another look.

Sounds like you're wearing the blinkered glasses as the coldie mob are.

This reply to you frosty ground.

I quoted you but didn't work.

My post was as follows.

Snow or no snow we are entering the coldest part of winter,or am I missing something.

Now I don' mind my post disappearing if that is deemed of topic, but the amount of crap and it is page after page that I read in there is embarrassing and goes untouched.

I mentioned the double edged sword earlier and it does look like we will see some snow inland on tues, the problem with the low disrupting further east than EC is that the scandy high will not have much of a bearing as we move through the rest of the week.

Hopefully quite a few in the region will get a cm or 2 tues..
