Rain here as per - surprised as had lots of hail today. *sigh*

Well hail can happen any time of year.. afterall hail is effectively layers of ice (frozen rain) that go around the cumulonimbus again and again before falling to the ground so it makes sense it would be rain.

Snowing here, all precip has been frozen  in some form all day but we’ve only been predicted rain...nice surprise! All the snow we’ve been been predicted up to now has been slush or rain :)

Nice covering of snow at this altitude (210m) the PPN bringing down the freezing temp from earlier on when it was around 340m.

Buxtonweather as usual doing a good job on reports from the public around here, I didn't see any gritters on the drive from Buxton back to Whaley at 1pm so goodness knows what DCC has been up to today.
