So what is our direction?

I ask this as it jaffa cakeses it down here all the time and yet whenever it is cold enough for snow the showers mainly miss us.

Mass of precipitation coming this way, looks to be lasting 2 hours for the areas it passes over, expect it to reach here at 9pm at this rate

Snowing steady here in Bacup and starting to settle a bit but it’s sleety at best.

Moved house today to littleborough. Not only am I 20m higher but i am pleased to see I have a lamp post literally in tv watching view. Just a slight head turn needed as opposed to keeping a gap in the curtains at the last pad ha. Happy days.

Makes sense, i usually go that way if i’m coming over from Halifax Road onto Whitworth Road and remember the top end of Syke as having nothing much beyond it other than fields and moorland.

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
