All of a sudden tomorrow morning looks very interesting with a light off-shore flow and precipitation.

What's your thoughts on that tweet I posted Chris? :)

Big upgrade in wording for Sunday.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday will bring more snow, particularly over higher ground, turning to rain. Monday will be drier and brighter, but patchy rain will return on Tuesday, becoming windy and milder.

Sounds very positive. Shows a period of lying snow cannot be discounted.  Perhaps the Met will issue warnings later.

Snow mainly on high ground turning to rain sounds a bit miserable to me but each to their own!

I look forward to Winter every year in anticipation of a decent snowfall which my 3.5 yr old still has not seen and once again we move towards Feb having seen bugger all.

This ‘potent’ NWly has been rubbish.

The x2 sliders were rubbish.

I don’t live high enough.

House for sale ?

same here spah-

House is going up for sale in the summer and we are moving to higher ground- weather not the only reason but its one of my 'no compromises ' - in truth even the higher parts round here have had another poor winter but i'm hoping this current cycle of guff winters will end sometime soon. :)

Tomorrow is not comparable with today. When you have off-shore winds anything can happen.

Hi Steve,

What are your thoughts on these two possible snow situations for the weekend? So many let downs here over the last 5 bloody years!

I'm sure the potential prolonged period of snow for tomorrow morning was not showing this morning. Is this a last minute model development today?
