Rain in MCR city centre as I left work, but more sleety back in Swinton, Salford - hoping for something after 9pm when uppers start becoming a bit more favourable!

Its funny watching the radar with the weather type on, you can see the showers blue in the west of the region, green as they get towards east of the region then pink as they cross the pennines.

Even Halkyn Mountain in Wales (300m asl) doesn't have snow on it so no chance for lowland coastal areas

Not cold enough anyway James.

Have to hope the temps drop overnight for any showers to turn to snow.

Thnk 300m and above will be white come morning tho..

0- ? Low ground
