Raining On and off all day.

I am fed up of this dark grey damp and bone chilling cold weather. If it isn't gunna be snowy, I'd just rather a sunny high pressure sat over us. So I can take my dogs out without getting wet and muddy. :sorry:

It’s looking like after around 9/10pm when we might start to see something more snowy, anything before (away from the likes of Buxton) just gonna be rain/hail

With a bit of luck, that will funnel into the Stalybridge / Mottram/ Hadfield area.

Met office app has me a period of slushy heavy snow in the morning, already had a few coverings of snow this winter but it doesn't last long on the ground. It really has been poor since 2013. Though I suppose to someone in Cornwall who likes snow they would have bitten my arm off for what I have had this winter.

Buxton is a micro-climate in itself, here up the Goyt there's no settling snow (although it's fallen from the sky most of the afternoon), with the Cat and Fiddle, Long-Hill roads all within sight and yet are reporting their own problems regarding jacknifed lorries and drivers struggling to get up and over the hills.

Long time reader but never really post!

Live in Mossley and we do get snow a few times each winter.

This week has been a rollercoaster!

Fingers crossed for later. Just rain at the moment. Temp 2.3

Roll on next week's milder weather....I'd rather have slightly warmer rain than this cold sleety mix, we've had over the last two days.  Ready for a weather reset now, this north westerly can be consigned to the reject bin.
