Strange that other posters in Cumbria are reporting heavy snow whereas all I amngetting is heavy rain/sleet!!

Supposed to be a 5°C increase in temperature in the next hour. That’s going to be interesting.

The snow has filled in all that had melted only to melt later. Radar has another band moving notth from north wales which will probably introduce the mild uppers

? either that front thats passed was an occlusion, or this next is the cold front that’s due as per latest fax.

It might be me but looking at xcweather it looks like the centre of the low is slightly further south than first forecast, as Damianslaw says a wrap around PPN may head our way and even the GFS shows that snowfall may occur further southwards as the low continues its track of an ESE'ly direction.
