Looking at the radar and Warnings now issued  i would expect you lot to get quite a covering the more inland the better.  Does anyone know of any warning for the rest of Eire?.

Forget later this evening, they are really going to get it in NI tomorrow evening according to the Aprege!

Aprege says your getting to get quite WET today unless your in the pennines and most likely high up.

 I have been waiting for the 6Z to say this.

For all those worrying about shower activity: the LI (a measure of the instability in the air)is on a nosedive from now on which enables the convective available potential energy (CAPE) to be released this afternoon. By 20:00 I have 1080 J/kG of CAPE and an LI of -5! I cannot emphasise enough how rare it is the sea figures so high in winter. If we do not see some substantial showers with lightning activity by 4 PM, then I am a chocolate frog!

light snow shower at work, the lowest point in rochdale. bodes better for back at home a bit higher up. shame theres not alot of action in the sea, yet.
