euro4 shows places with altitude (probably a lot of altitude ) might get heavy snow wed night as the low scoots thru, still need it another 30miles south to bring the region into the equation tho..

Still, thats not much so will have to watch todays runs with interest..

We need to wait for  lapse rates to increase this afternoon. I expect it to explode about 3 PM.

What’s lapse rate?

I used to use rain today. I prefer the 5 minute intervals on the Netweather one, when it works!

Looking out as it lightens up outside.... dusting on roof and grass and car... lookslike a proper covering above 400m...

I'm not convinced i will see lying snow even at my altitude TBH.

GFS thought there would be heavy snow overnight and this morning- radar says no.

Plenty of rain/Hail showers rattling through, which is quite surprising normally very poor here from a westerly no doubt when they turn wintry they will

by pass me completely.

Latest from Airport Heavy snow showers expected mid afternoon and overnight period 2-5cm has triggered a Level 2 alert.

No snow here. I assuming not enough showers here. If it did its probably just too wet.
