25 years ago this week the Braer Storm occurred.

The Braer Storm of January 1993 was the most intense extratropical cyclone ever recorded over the northern Atlantic Ocean. 

Pressure dropped to 914mb and to this day it's still a record for North Atlantic cold water system.
