Federer is past it, he is 37, and will never win Wimbledon again, no real shock him losing, not many 37 year old guys reached final

Nadal may end up winning more slams, at least 5 more French open titles

Five and a half hours and Isner v Anderson still playing !
Longest semi in Wimbledon history.
15-15 in the final set as I type.

Nadal v Djoko waiting to happen tonight.

Novak Djokovic leads Rafael Nadal 6-4 3-6 7-6 (11-9) in the heavily delayed 2nd semi-final the match will resume at 13:00 with the ladies final starting, once it concludes meaning the planned 2pm start, is highly unlikely

As someone who is a fleeting tennis watcher for Wimbledon only, why do women only play to 3 sets? It seems a farce that the men's semi-finals averaged around 6 hours, yet the women's final barely made it past the hour mark...

Yes, makes the equal prize money (since 2007) look a bit daft.

There would probably be a scheduling issue if 'the girls' (as Dan Maskell used to call them) played 5 sets but it does need spicing up a bit. Women's tennis can be a pretty dull watch tbh. It's often all over far too quickly.

Ay, a slam for the women is no different to ordinary low level tour events

I really enjoyed the boys final just now.  Good match.
Britain's Jack Draper (16 yrs old) beaten in 3 sets by Chun Tseng.

Fairly straight forward for Novak with a straight sets win

6-2 6-2 6-6 (6-2)

Haven't seen any of Draper's matches but based purely on his reaction to the semi final win I thought he looked a bit of a cocky little so and so.

Because women's tennis is simply not deemed as important or popular due to viewership and many women players would probably complain.

They are only payed equally in tennis because it's a crime to point out that a sport which relies on stamina and whacking a ball is going to favour men as a rule of genetics. Most of the women would be lucky to be in the top 100 were they put in a mixed draw.
