A pretty wild morning here with gale force gusts from the SSW. Not completely cloudy with the sun trying to peek through and it’s dry. If that squall line makes it down here, it should get a bit mad for an hour or so.

bit windy out. There is a massive high pressure showing on the weather models, it is doing the hokey kokey around the uk at the moment, were it will settle nobody knows.

very windy here, trying to hold car doors whilst children got in the car, I'm quite surprised how windy it has been here already. i thought it was getting windier towards the middle/end of the day

been watching that line since this morning, put on trainers in case had to run back in the pouring rain. had some fine stuff in the air but it's taking it's time if it's gonna hit. Nice and windy and mild and 'I didn't need my gloves ' weather.

Well the hurricane hasn't arrived yet.

It's breezy and drizzly out there.

Not exactly what was forecast!

The squall hasn't even gone past Salisbury yet. We're going to be waiting for a while I think

i thought it was just minutes away and had turned into a damp squib, but it has not arrived yet

Bin collection this morning, so listening to the  not very dulcet tones of empty wheelie bins being blown over and recycling bins being thrown around. Was hoping the squall would move through before  I head to work shortly, alas will have to drive through it!

Would appear the squall line is going to miss here altogether, as is most of the heavy rain - seems to be going more north than east at the moment

Far windier here than the previous named storm

No where near as windy here as last weeks unnamed storm.

I recorded 67.2mph last week,  40.5mph Max today so far
