Wind starting to get audible here now. Still wouldn't call it strong yet. But it is increasing in strength quite quickly, and seem more constant then gusty.

The wind is beginning to pick up here, as well, just dashed out into soggy garden to prop the leaning fence post back up - I wonder if it will make the weekend when it was due for proper repair..

Too dark, wet and miserable to do anything outside today.

Reports of chaos in Northern island with gust of 97mph inland, looks like a sting jet.

Very entertaining reading the pant wetting over on the MAD thread regarding  the lastest ECM ... *gone on the next run - watch the cry’s and whines...

Looks like it could be a bit windy tonight.. standard affair!!

Fields bogged walking the dogs this morning.. soaked ground. ‘’We need the rain they said” :wallbash:

The worst are the squally showers, I remember a severe microburst here which destroyed small buildings and ripped roofs off back in 2011. not to mention seeing my large trampoline fly away down the road.

Becoming breezy along the SE Kent coast now. I was expecting the wind to pick up a little quicker than has been.

Nevertheless, a wild night ahead I'm sure!

Batten down the hatches... First signs of something developing now out west on radar..

It won’t be that bad :blink2:

However I’m seeing some wild wind gusts in excess of 60 mph on some models here, that’s very unusual for sheltered metropolis of London it would cause some problems.

Wind starting to go for it now, and still more constant then gusty, although it makes a louder noise at times.

Absolute pandemonium in northern Ireland right now, lots of reports of trees down and damage to roofs coming in aswell as people on planes saying the planes are swaying.
