Have a few flakes here blowing about in the wind. I'm glad I had CCTV put in I don't even have to get up from the sofa to look out of the window anymore :D

Edit lots of snow flakes now

I much prefer NetweatherSnowRadar app

Makes no difference which app I use. All are showing false returns over my house (Herne bay)

Ps temp has now dropped to 0.3, didn't realise we were expecting temps to be sub zero tonight, don't expect the drop in temp to stop yet.

I see what is happening now and why the models are showing a pep up in the ppn around the wash, it's all to do with that blob running down the east coast its drifting very slightly south west the western extent is what is actually being shown the stuff in the south at the moment I wouldn't worry about that, you want to see that blob intensity go up and drift south over us..

Look to me like it’s going southwest and willl miss London altogether

Interesting to hear the BBC forecasts mention the possibility of a covering in London tonight.

Going by some of models it doesn’t sound surprising. Everything is crossed so overdue!

The small area of precipitation over EA, Essex and Kent is moving south, the big one is also currently going straight south, however, everything to the northwest of that is moving southeast so we might well all be lucky from West London all the way over to Essex and Kent.

It looks lined up right for London to me the heavier echoes.

Operational now in line with the control at the end of the run. Definitely sniffing the coffee with hopefully plenty more snow chances as we move through Feb & March.

Going by today I don't expect things to warm up before then, front is definitely having trouble moving west.

It certainly is, although anything that does come from the West doesn’t look warm by any means.

On the radar it’s says it’s snowing in Hastings, just asked my sister who tells me it’s not. How accurate is the radar. There is definitely precipitation headed that way I checked on two other radars

Winds look favourable for the 'blob' to move inland over our region when the ppn gets South of The Wash.

I find the netweather radar can give false echoes as I've often been under snow when nothing at all is falling

Hastings, according to my mate there, has a few flakes floating in the air. Like here in North Essex.

I'm not going to do an all-nighter, it's never looked like a convincing event for snow-lovers and nothing on the radars is changing my mind that this will be a light covering at best.
