Morning all! Slight covering here with the odd light shower every now and again! Lovely to see but still not enough to be able to go and 'play' in!!

Going on the experience of past, it will be "hello spring" albeit a cold one.

I remember March 2005. One of the best snowfalls for my area of north kent in March. 9 inches of snow and snowing all day. I wouldn't mind that

Heavy snow shower here. Fun watching it fall and watching England bat in the 20/20 at the same time!!!

Hi snowbob,

If it doesn't happen this Winter, I'm sure you wont have to wait too long. Have seen some epic snowfalls, up there.

Regards,

Tom.

Another very slight dusting, and although snow depths have been laughable,I have seen snow falling for 4 consecutive days, albeit very, very light,so on that front,it's been much better than the last 5 years, milder by friday,so is that it for winter

Yep, a beefy fall of heavy snow, that hangs around for a few days with frequent top ups in that time, just for us to get the snow crave out of our system ?

Snowing again here in Blackboys but it's thawing faster than it's falling despite being below zero. We've still got lying snow everywhere bar the roads but I'm very surprised how quickly its melting considering it's been well below freezing since yesterday afternoon. The ground is clearly still pretty warm despite several nights of sub zero temperatures.

A few cm’s here overnight most of the showers veered sw but was nice to see some settling snow even though it’s melting fast. Still occasional moderate bursts but it’s on its way out now. Looking forward to next week now to see what the effects of the SSW will be for our tiny part of the world

We had a sprinkling overnight but it's only lasted in the shade.

Would be nice to have a slightly thicker snow. Enough to cancel school, throw a snowball and hear that crunch underfoot

Another cracking  school run today, constant pulse of snow all the way there and back has got me to the 2cm mark.

Nice little winter spell with snow settling 3 days in a row.
