I’m feeling weirdly confident about tonight, I have no idea why.

You should be. I reckon you will get a covering.

I've noticed something when viewing the me to warnings on the app, it puts us in the warning zone but then right at the bottom of the column it says " Warnings NOT affecting Maidstone " and does the same for most the locations even though they are in the Yellow zone?

Does that include Dover?

It just means that there are other warnings in force that do not affect the area you are looking at. If you click on them they will expand will show you the warning and the areas they apply to.

Relevant to here so copied continuity from GFS.

The SE especially looks highest risk of seeing some back edge snow, GFS 18z shows completely rain for most of country some some truly very cold dew points catch up from NW, it could be a dramatic event

I think this situation is potentially a good one, Ive far more faith in this set up than the one from Monday morning.  Again, not convinced about my coastal location (too warm later on) , but for the bulk of EAnglia and into London, Kent might get a dusting, even the odd cm.  Some models show the area just E of Maidstone (say Lenham) as a local sweet spot.

Good luck all!

Snow is much lighter than the radar suggests here.

Yeah that does seem a bit odd maybe they forgot to remove one or the app has cached it.

Believe it not it was their biggest snowfall in 30 years. Paris does not get a lot of snow!
