Radar is showing the ppn building again as it moves South. Still worth watching.

Must admit Scotty, something has pepped up just north of Cambridge.

I am pretty sure it will keep intensifying as it moves South.

BBC still have light and patchy snow across SE Kent during rush hour.

Let's hope so, but I also hope the ?ittle bit of snow that may or may not be lying in the morning, doesn't stop the school bus this time. Couldn't believe it when the bus didn't come must cause of a bit of sleet. The Aycliffe bus service keeps getting worse.

The light snow that's been falling for a while looks like it's turned to sleet? Everything looks wet outside now! ?

Please be joking. It's freezing out. Didn't think there was a warm sector in this.

Steady snow here, small flakes but steady. How do I know this? Not, unfortunately, by any sensible lampposting - my (1yr today birthday boy ??) lab took one look out the back door, noted the cold and refused to go out. Dressing gown and slippers to accompany him eventually persuaded the wee wee. And I got to see the snow in the torchlight ? God...

I here in Walthamstow haven't got my hopes up for tonight if we get something here I will be happy.

I am feeling a bit disheartened this evening I went to the MOD thread and there has been a lot of talk of this big freeze that we should be getting tied it to a SSW, Just seen some comments saying it might not happen according to some recent runs showing on the ec45. I really hope this is not the nightmare we are all dreading that does not come true. With February  running by and this cold snap being overplayed the next few weeks is the last crunch if something decent is to see this winter out.

The waiting will go on

Dont tell me it's not worth loosing sleep for. Don't tell me its not worth waiting  for

you know it's true ...........everything I do (wait for winter, watch the models, see you in my dreams, lamppost watching, radar watching, temperature watching) .....,,,,,,,,I do it for you ❄️️❄️️❄️️❄️️❄️️❤️️❤️️❤️️

Yep that. They cancelled the bus that all the kid take into town, and the next one was ten mins late.

Hmmm not feeling this one. It will take some serious intensification to give anything noteworthy for most of us. Good luck to any of you on watch through the early hours, hope you get your rewards ❄️

I've noticed something when viewing the me to warnings on the app, it puts us in the warning zone but then right at the bottom of the column it says " Warnings NOT affecting Maidstone " and does the same for most the locations even though they are in the Yellow zone?

Latest radar grabs shows precip holding its intensity on land north Norfolk may see a good covering.

I agree Daniel and possibly further south too. just watching that blob north of here gain some intensity the last 30 minutes expecting a pretty heavy shower shortly. Going on what we had earlier with less of an echo should be quite beefy as it really cold out there now
