Guys the trajectory of the blob means that unless it does a major swerve or falls to pieces on the western edge then more places will see snow tonight-

1.2c here already :)

Look North on the radar if anyone is concerned... Building nicely, moving South, so hopefully, as Steve said, it doesn't decay.

Looking good so far in my opinion. Keep an eye on the radar folks!

The lamp post outside my house conveniently decided to pack up the weekend, but after an email to the council concerning ‘safety’ oppose to saying I need it to work to see snow falling tonight, has just been fixed ?

Buggered now. :D

so its look northeast atm for that moderate ppn to slowly sink southwards and maybe pepping up as it does this evening and overnight giving maybe 1cm widely over the warning zone to 1-4cm possible

Hopefully, the "blob" of ppn will keep building from the warmth of the N Sea and then get a hint of the NNE'ly wind over the SE to push further inland and so affect those of us further West in the region.

(EDIT: That blob is still building nicely, looking good for those in the East especially.)

Remember all that for those on mobiles and tablets they might not get to see your location like they would on laptop and iPads.

Makes it easier to type locations when giving observations.

For many it will be the early hours though :D

Are we looking North or West or both?!

Just north I think, west is moving south. Not much movement towards the east at all. Certainly different to most models

Forecast, don't know about the 12z mind, it must have the signal to what has happened.

Got a nice flury going on now, much better than the one or two flakes floating past if you stare for long enough. However not heavy enough to land just yet.

I see what is happening now and why the models are showing a pep up in the ppn around the wash, it's all to do with that blob running down the east coast its drifting very slightly south west the western extent is what is actually being shown the stuff in the south at the moment I wouldn't worry about that, you want to see that blob intensity go up and drift south over us..
