Definitely seeing the start of the winds veering round more, run the radar back you can see how they start pushing more inland over Kent and further west.

Now more showers breaking out further north I assume this is the front beginning to lift north.

Some high RES models do show some band of showers moving quite far inland and north west associated with that front but it's all guess from here and radar watching

Think he set up own weather forum after some trouble and fallings out on here a few years back.

Just been lurking today but gotta post about John Pike - he was so good at keeping us updated with all his charts. As a novice I relied on his knowledge.

John Pike resigned to netweather history ? I miss his fax charts updates on here he was the father of this thread. :D

I suppose it like teenagers that are sexually frustrated, but instead we’re older and uglier and the frustration is over snow instead it does get especially rowdy at times like this, but at its best too. :cold:

Eagerly awaiting some snow showers to head in across South Essex during the early hours..... seems the wind is starting to change  ....

Fingers crossed  :)

Okay, that's it...It's still 3C, it's still drizzling, and nothing's changed (even the wind is still about to veer to the East) in the past twelve hours, so I'll call it a day, and go listen to Ian Collins...And if, by some miracle, the drizzle turns to snow before it peters out, everything will be all white in the morning!:santa-emoji:

Night all...

METO showing snow at midnight in Medway compared with radar that’s showing a build up heading our way keeps me fairly confident

I'm only 10miles West of you and mines now changed to light rain?

Been Comedy Gold in here tonight:D!!

Back to the weather and temp still dropping down to 0.9 here now but still pretty clear.Looks a fairly cold week coming up with some frost and pleasant days and for lucky few the odd sprinkling of snow. All in all alot more like winter and an improvement on last 3 weeks which have been pretty wet down here in kent.

Lets hope the Strat warming that looks like happening rewards the UK and the SE and that we can all boast about the snow depths across the Region!!:good:

Don't worry you can have my snow machine ?

The bounty hunter snow machine was for lassie though. ;)

I got my snow making machine from amazon for Christmas but it looks more like a fog making machine when I switch it on, made in China so maybe some confusion in the translation. :cc_confused:
