This waiting game seems to be getting longer and longer

I think I am leaving Walthamstow and heading  to the North Sea with a search party to find these snow clouds.

Even better idea shall I just press the button of the snow machine

???

Glad to hear you’re feeling a lot better.

I’ll always remember December 10, which must have been a nightmare for, as I imagine every member was sending in reports!

Thanks for your kind words, Lawren. Yes, it was a nightmare in it's infancy!! I just kept everybody's measurements,on loose A4 paper, no wonder, my brain blew up. Then that very nice, Chris Mantle, designed a super-duper, spreadsheet, for me. But we seemed to jinx our snow chances, after that!!

Regards,

Tom.

Have a good night everyone.

To have a moderator @Paul Sherman mock me on here leaves me speechless.

Much respect to the other moderators though.

I am not a Moderator -  You are a tad touchy, see you Mid Month no doubt for the big freeze

I love the new zoomed in maps. FYI the BBC website now uses raw ECM data, so it'll probably be a good source for PPN etc..

The fact that people are planning to stay up all night shows how desperate times are.

2.1C here now.

look mate, you might be right. to be honest i think you will be. however there's no need to keep banging on about it and telling everyone how you were right. (which as of now, you are not-yet...) we all know how disappointing the weather can be when it shows "potential" which it has over the past few days. let people have a bit of fun and hope before peeing on their fireworks.

Even I can see plenty of potential. It's the snow that's gone AWOL.:D

Those were great NW days..... Chris is much missed.. So sorry to hear you've had such a difficult couple of years, Tom, and great to hear that you are getting back to your old self. Great to see some old faces on here tonight - hopefully we can reunite over a bit of the white stuff!

Thanks for those kind words, Kate. Although the Snow Depth Cup, was a lot of hard work, I really enjoyed, doing it. When I worked for a Bookmakers' in Croydon, I compiled a lot of fantasy sports competitions, for my colleagues. That's where the idea for the Snow Depth Cup, came from.

Regards,

Tom. :hi:

Git.

Joke?

Snow currently missing presumed lost.  If anyone sees an entirely uniquely shaped ice crystal, possibly in the presence of other ice crystals that initially look the same but in fact are subtly different, please call Rime Watch.  Remember, snow is not common so, please, don't have nightmares.
