The wind has just picked up here and the sky is completely grey. Just had a heavy sleet shower. I'm just leaving to go to Hertfordshire to pick my new puppy up so hopefully no issues when I get to the tunnel.

I loved that snow cup, lots of fun!

Sorry to hear you’ve since been ill Tom but pleased you’ve recovered well.

You're right...I was joint winner with snowbob!

If i remember correctly there was a lot of controversial brown envelopes being passed around that year:rofl:

Good to hear your doing well Tom.

Deal is always marginal as it sits in a divot.. You mean a valley.. Or up north a Dale..divot is what you take out with a golf club isn't it.. ? ?.. Anyway you won't ever get snow.. To near Walmer ?

Haha I'll accept your correction although I use divot, dip, valley, dale, hole, vale etc fairly interchangeably! Yes, being that close to anything Walmer is going to narrow our chances! ?

Hi good morning all you lovelies here in Walthamstow it's a fine start to the day with a little fleeting cloud. Don't think we had anything overnight well no sign of anything anyway unless it disappeared before I was up. The day is finally here and am I so excited I really hope the heavy showers come this evening more chance of the snow settling rather than the daytime. I wish everyone on here good luck hope we all get what we have been waiting for. As fort the snow machine it's been dusted off I can press the button if anyone wants ?.

Wishing you all a very happy Sunday let's all sit back and just wait now fingers crossed. Peeps don't forget to mention your locations so we can know where it's snowing.

Take care for now ?????

I'm normally jealous of the snow reports coming in on this thread but this morning I'm more jealous of the number of new puppy reports coming in

Well the radar looks interesting for the next hour...not sure how much that’ll equate too but maybe some flurries for a fair few

I live in that green area!

Finally my nearly 7 year old will get to see laying snow and maybe make a snowman!

Is that for Tuesday?

Sorry, can't comment on that, although I think I remember Snowbob leaving me a brown envelope, at Addington tram stop.

Thank you for your kind words, Chris.

Snowbob, what's this, changing address from Addington to Biggin Hill, hogging all the hilltops, or what? :D

On the subject of altitude, anyone need to calculate theirs', this is a good site. Just enter postcode, in box provided. See below

Tom.

As a general note to members if you are going to post charts like the above could you please take a few extra seconds to state what time it is for ie 48z 72z etc

Thanks

Blimey, I'm at the dizzying heights of 4m so if you see me reporting snow, you're pretty much guaranteed to see snow falling out of the sky unless you're standing in the sea

Chilly morning here, though with some very welcome sunshine! Currently 3C at Heathrow airport, just boarded our flight to Prague. Cold there too (2C). Will be there for 2 nights, then catching a train to Venice and Salzburg, via Vienna. Home on Friday. Might post a few pics, if anyone interested. Hope you guys all see some snow!

Can tablet users see signatures? I've put my location in there

Not sure about tablets but on mobiles you can’t see them, which is annoying as most people these days are probably browsing this forum from their phones!

few tiddly tiny bits of snow on ground and wheelie bin this morning, sky now dark and a mixture of sleet /rain/snow. Seems to be snow in challock/ molash area which is just that bit higher up.. As said above with this sort of streamer /clipper real time /radar watch is the best and most reliable technique...
