Awful atm in my part of Suffolk. Hammering down with a gusty wind and very dark as the area of heavy rain moves through.

Yeah, its very dark over here too, and a squall came through, either hail or heavy rain for a minute or two.

yes, similar weather, but you're still in The Triangle, you don't get away that easily! :)

Oh I know I’m still in the triangle, no escaping that :fool:

but with southwold getting all those lovely thunder storms last summer that never reached Lowie, I figured moving closer to it would be my best bet for some ‘action’. You watch you all get them this summer while I watch the radar with envy :girl_devil:

Anyone else getting this strong and blustery wind, soft hail and rain, in the London area? Nasty.

Yes - S word based on current output - flurries late sun through Monday as temps drop away- max mon could be close to zero but need another 48 hours of modelling to take us to 12z Friday for a better viewpoint..

Brilliant, thanks so much.

Probably too far west here for flurries in Berkshire :(

it depends on how far the Isolines are pushing those flurries through! You will need a bit more Easterly - rather than North Easterly!

Nice one Steve. Looks like it could be an exciting week coming up.

Yes a straight easterly will be best, then most of London should also get some showers/flurries. I do ok also on an ENEly here, just about, but I have noticed that central London and anywhere north or north west of London generally miss out. A NEly and its basically just EA and parts of Kent, mainly near to coastal areas.

This is my estimate for a ENEly:D

That’s spot on, usually poor here. The only time we get snow from the east is via troughs moving east to west.

This is my expectation if we get a straight easterly, you would be in on that. Yes a trough would be ideal but a Thames streamer if one were to set up could get quite a way west too.
