Temperatures on the surface generally isn’t an issue it’s cold, 1.7C, aloft however it isn’t cold a layer of much milder atlantic warmer air counties like Norfolk the last to bid farewell to cold air and snow.

After several attempts on downloading my images from my mobile phone.   I hope it works now.  I have not been getting any error messages.

Couple of hours snow, heavy at times, resulting in this pile up... actually it was still only a smidge over grass, furniture and conservatory roof.

Can’t upload photos again ? getting the same error message I got a few months ago that Paul said had been fixed. Anyone else getting it? A -200 problem uploading error.

Yes got it last night and I couldn’t put a pic on even though it was only 2 MB when it says anything under 7MB should be ok ( same error message too )

Sorry was away to report - was babysitting nephew.

Anyway, has quite some heavy snow in Central London from around 12.00 - 10p flakes fell from sky! :D

Although, rain on ground allowed nothing to settle. Big waste, but lovely to see all the same. :)

Ended up with about an hour and a half of snowfall here in the end, some big 50p flakes, with a covering on the cars, grass and roof, road was starting to get a covering before it turned back to rain. Nothing falling now, but still a covering on cars / soil etc :D

The last of the lying snow is being washed away by the rain. Still cold at 3C, a completely vile afternoon.

Accidental quote.

Temp and DP now rising here, it was slowly falling during last updates. Wind still a gusty SE. I expect a fast transition soon for anywhere snow is still falling now, the cold air to our south has been mixed out

Whatever the rest of this winter provides, today's letdown is going to take some beating - five-minutes' sleet!:D

I believe the forecast for there is “a wintry mix over the hills, rain at lower levels”.
