Light snow now in Waltham abbey. Nice to see.

No chance of settling as ground is so wet.

Some settling snow just visible on the camera on top of Reigate Hill.

the hill is shrouded from Reigate - nothing settling here in woodhatch but higher parts of the town the grass and roofs are partially covered...

The problem this winter seems to b the complete lack of cold on the contient.

We have had plenty of moisture coming up against cold air , but not cold enough for us southerners , wheras the midlands north have been ubbing there hands wth glee on more than 1 ocassion!!

We just havent had that true eppic freeze for several years now and one is starting to loose hope.

even today it refuses to co-operate with us and grant our wishes, he-ho still a few weeks left

We've had a mixture of rain sleet and snow for the past coupla so hours now, may be more but I was in the land of nod earlier - just come a bit heavier, most not settling though just starting to get a whitish tinge - temp 1.4C with a 92% humidity. 

Looking at the radar we are at the southern end of the snow.
