better than nothing lol! wasnt even expecting to see falling snow, even in the lighter bursts its falling as snow now which is a good!

Yes, I said last night that I thought aliens landing on my house was more likely than snow. Don’t think a career in the Met Office will be happening.

I wonder folk what folk from Scandinavia would think of us getting excited with some sleet and 1mm of lying slush?

Meanwhile here in RP a period of very wet snow. Temp 2.2C.

Last bit of snow we could be seeing for a while, let’s hope the models show some more interest later. Light wet snow here now.

Lovely covering in Wendover Woods this am and with heavier snow falling now at lower levels in Aston Clinton, it has probably got even better. 3 decent snow events this winter. Am happy enough from an IMBY perspective.

Snow has turned to icy rain here now.

Nothing showing on wrotham or blue bell... Sleet and little snow mixed in shipbourne where I is... But I'm only 200 odd feet above sea level so anything a bonus :-)

although it may make you feel better venting your anger and frustration about this winter, you wont change the outcome and it will do what it wants, even if that means missing out on any snow, i get saddened as well but no one can change it, it is what it is and it is something we have to accept whether we like it or not

You were right in your first sentence.

Venting my frustrations about this winter does help...

The problem this winter seems to b the complete lack of cold on the contient.

We have had plenty of moisture coming up against cold air , but not cold enough for us southerners , wheras the midlands north have been ubbing there hands wth glee on more than 1 ocassion!!

We just havent had that true eppic freeze for several years now and one is starting to loose hope.

Moderate snow and settling nicely now- best winter for 5 years from an imby perspective with plenty of cold and frosty weather too...

MetO got this snow forecast completely wrong for the lower elevations. They informed Croydon Council last night indicating Croydon would not get any snow!! The French MetO got our snow forecast 100% correct.
