Everything is going white very quickly now. Lovely to see it falling but all a bit pointless as it’ll melt soon. That’s the second laying snowfall here this winter, which makes it a better winter than many recent ones. Still waiting for a proper 1991 cold spell, though, that’s the kind of cold and snow I like.

Sleet has for now turned to snow. Bit to wet to settle here at the moment though.

Theres actually some very heavy PPN to the west of us now showing up on the radar, thunder-snow? All moving east.

Been steady and moderate for just over an hour, sticking to rooftops and cars nicely with grass and tarmac joining in during the last half hour.

Temp -0.1c with dewpoint -0.3c and a ESE wind blowing.

I'm not far from you. I reckon once the band moves in there will be a temporary drop in temp and a short spell of something wintry before rain.
