I'd be over the moon with that dusting of snow here, even if it will be all gone in 10 minutes once the mild air arrives.

Let me know how you fair.....should it snow where you are on the Kent border we need to throw a party.

That's gotta be the first kent flake to fall since Jesus walked the earth hasn't it?

Everything is going white very quickly now. Lovely to see it falling but all a bit pointless as it’ll melt soon. That’s the second laying snowfall here this winter, which makes it a better winter than many recent ones. Still waiting for a proper 1991 cold spell, though, that’s the kind of cold and snow I like.

Definitely looks a bit sleety here. Need heavier stuff.

Yep - sleet now mixing in!  Does it now count as a "snow day"?

Snow :yahoo:

Been steady and moderate for just over an hour, sticking to rooftops and cars nicely with grass and tarmac joining in during the last half hour.

Temp -0.1c with dewpoint -0.3c and a ESE wind blowing.

nothing to report here, only damp ground, i think you lot have stolen what snow there is before it gets to us:)

I'm not far from you. I reckon once the band moves in there will be a temporary drop in temp and a short spell of something wintry before rain.
