That’s what frustrates when people who recently got snow moan about missing out again when some of us have had no settling snow this winter... it’s like a slap in the face for the rest of us ....lol

Not a moan.

I'm sorry you haven't had anything, but a 2 hour round trip to do 5 miles then digging my daughters car out of a country lane for another hour on top of that isn't exactly what I call fun. That's before we have a discussion about the lunatic drivers/lack of planning by the local council.

It was lovely for a little while believe me, but I didn't get time to enjoy it, and when I did have time, I'd had enough of it.

Id really be happy if it snowed again, as long as I got to enjoy it.

Today was like days I remember as a kid, hopeful for one of those isolated showers, lots of dirty cloud around but nothing. If you'll looking for desperate, I remember getting up early one saturday because there was talk of snow showers, and I missed it - the fence was wet and all but it was only snow shower that year and I missed it.

You only missed it because it took you so long to choose what to wear :)

Looking at Euro4 all good for all snow overnight perhaps even accumulating to low levels.

Yes it does Daniel, but the current radar looks very poor, showers everywhere apart from, you guessed it London and SE.

Ohh forgot to post this earlier, GEM made me laff, the T120 chart where we might have had a sort of slider or battleground event showing snow from just north of London all the way to Scotland, and same all the way south from the channel into France. London and SE, just rain, seems like theres no hope.

Please weather gods can we have just one decent weather fix in the next 6 weeks!

Had a brief period of really big snow flakes on my way home, lovely to see.  Went from very cold rain in Bromley to sleet and then snow in Biggin Hill.  Forecast says maybe some more overnight, however, I'm not overly confident.  Looks like the wind is going to be more of a concern for us lot?!?

Doppler radar suggests its largely falling as wet snow lighter precip rain. Actually sleet instead of wet snow.

Is that actually Doppler rader?  I ask as I was informed that the Met Office weren't even making it available to forecasters on subscription, let alone us ordinary people.

Yes a very surprise warning suddenly sprouted up! Don't expect much but it might be worth a drive up to Boxhill which is about 270 asl - fingers crossed!x

Strange that places like Leek in the NW is showing up as rain at 0c, thought would be all snow up there by now. Temps around London are 2-4c.

I estimate very light sleet/snow will make it's way from the West towards London approx 04:00 hrs +/- tomorrow morning. Roads will be quite icy too.

Would be very surprised if this part of Kent saw anything as think any showers will just fizzle out as they move from West to East.

I think the MO are just running a test to make sure the yellow graphic still works over the SE, as it’s been that long since it’s been used.

Every winter they do,yellow warning of huge disappointment and anger,as yet another nailed on cold spell, with bitter siberian winds and heavy snow, for the south east, fails to.materialise at t2

Pathetic I see an amber warning for sweet FA waste of a graphic and the BBC forecast backs this up. Absolutely FA for us wind and more likely to see purple cows flying backwards then snow

I think it shows how snow starved we are though, that a slushy 1-3cm’s could poss cause disruption. People just aren’t used to it now!!
