When you've got children with S.E.N., its practically impossible to educate them on the hygene rules.

The issue is, most people don't understand how the virus works. If people have toothbrushes lying out etc in the bathroom where someone has been sick, the virus particles will have infected it. So once it's in your mouth you have no chance. You literally have to be meticulous with noro.

The virus can last at least a week on all surfaces unfortunately. There wasn't one part of the bathroom that didn't get bleached when my mum had it and she was banished to her room and gloves put on to handle the bedding and put on a hot wash.

I went through 4 bottles of bleach and bleach spray disinfecting the door handles and any surfaces she may have touched (light switches etc). Took 3 or 4 days of bleaching and scrubbing.

That's no good. Noro is a hardy virus which will only succumb to bleach and high temperatures (above 60C).

Its a nasty virus. Nothing stops it doing the rounds no matter how careful you are.

Haha!

Well I guess people forget simple things like to pour bleach in toilet before you flush it after being sick. This kills the virus for when the toilet is flushed and the virus is atomised.

Getting back on topic.

I hope the grass looks like it' had neat bleach on it tomorrow morning.

Showers  will head inland later as the winds back more westerly.
