Some decent showers now. Not cold enough for snow. Typical ☹️

Heavy sleet showers which seem to be leaning more snowy in the last half hour.

Should be good on the snake/Woodhead.

Think I'll be staying away from anything weather related this evening, cos I'll be too jealous. :wallbash:

Sleety hail showers overnight...definitely wet flakes mixed in more recently. 1c not sure we’ll see much snow later either as it slides south of us...will see when the met updates warning later this morning... think it’s nowcasting/radar watching... although bbc breakfast mentioned Peak District...

Heavy snow one minute then sleet the next and it keeps coming from the Irish Sea settling on cars and cold roofs.

Proper beautiful snow from a very yellow sky⛄️❄️❄️❄️

Yep, surprised to see heavy snow falling when I opened the curtains this morning but it's very wet stuff and struggling to stick apart from the coldest surfaces.

Better than nothing though and I'd imagine it's fully covered on the tops.

maybe an excuse for a walk later.
