Icon 12z the low is exiting through north east England. We need it to exit through east anglia to get us in the game imo

Guess i will have to make do with tomorrows heavy snow showers :)

I still wouldn’t rule out some of you getting disruptive snowfall from the low.

And 2-6cm for high ground I think is way conservative...

Nice developments from the ICON. It makes an attempt to build a ridge in the Atlantic at the end of the week. Also pressure a bit lower in Iberia which is important.

Think a lot depends on shower distribution Daniel  :)

Pressure rising over Ibrea is a direct result of the low pulling further north so as it sinks south therefore pressure to the south must fall

Never heard of this model before but here is COAMPs.

Exiting through the wash area would put much of northern england, at least the higher parts, into the game!

At 93 hours the ICON phases the two lows in northeast Canada which slows down their progress eastwards and allows some kind of ridge in the Atlantic. Northwesterly for us.
