Think there could be some surprises overnight as long as we get the precipitation. Cannot see any reason why Snow  wouldn’t fall to low levels;  at least on the back edge.usual overestimation of temperatures by the Metin an off-shore wind, seen it so many times.

That’s why I said only if we get the precipitation.

2.5 C currently. Supposed to be 5 C . Met models don’t have a clew with these coastle micro-climates!

Possibility of a bit of snow for the northwest region, no chance it’s only January.

come back in April, maybe something to see then.

Covering of snow on the three peaks this morning, but dry and no frost here on the northern edge of the Forest of Bowland

Hopefully a few sunny days and the ground will have a chance to dry up a bit. Hate it when everything is just perpetually damp.

Roll on Spring I say (controversially), bored of winter now.

I’m expecting an air frost tonight here and a hard one at that. Met apps are suggesting otherwise but I told you all what I thought of them last night.
