Perhaps a couple of cms here so far, it has been mostly light, but more moderate in the last half hour. It is very wet though. How long it lasts who knows, possibly another hour, before fizzling out, and a quick thaw most probable, with some sleety cold rain for the rest of the day.

Quite disappointing, the intensity of the precipitation being very light, and the speed of the band moving through too fast to delay the inevitable drip drip. Still it is the first proper snowfall of the season here.

It's borderline between the rain and snow here in the west peaks, draw a line from Macc to Glossop and the hills to the east of that has the snow-accumulation totals. It doesn't seem to know what it wants to do here however, sleet one minute and snow the next.

Just freezing rain. Nothing exciting here.

Oh well thats it for 2017!! It is quite a boring year for weather here. This event pretty much sums up this boring weather.

Even mild ramper Dianne Oxberry looked worried last night, but she needn't have bothered, just plain old rain out there.

Been snowing here since about 5am and we now have the grand total of 30mm so unless it gets its act together big time I can’t see us getting more than the minimum quoted in the Amber area.

15cm, at this rate it’ll have to snow until Wimbledon fortnight.

Yes - think I will have to take a little walk before it all disappears.

Still got snow here just outside Wrexham. We have a light covering - only 100m ASL. It did get sleety around 7am but then the heavier precipitation and evaporative cooling turned it back to heavy wet snow.
