Still snowing, maybe a couple of cm’s on the ground but looking at the speed this is pushing through the region, I suggest you get the car started now.

Yes, the one consolation for those who haven't got snow is that it does seem to be zipping through at a rate of knots.

Heavier spell of wintry mix showing on the radar now pushing into the region, but this could be the nail in the coffin for my wintry hopes.  Still raining.

There is a slither of 'nothingness' on the zoomed-in image from meto's warning.  I think I could be in that.

Yep, looks about right.

Im that despondent im not even bothered- let down after let down ..

On a brighter note the 00z runs look good.

Hopefully a change of heart from the metoffice as we move into January- all 00z output doesnt look mild at all!

A wintry mix here now with the rain having turned back to sleet. I suspect this is due to the more intense precipitation now moving over.

Lol! Sounds like a plan! I imagine the tops are getting pasted. May contemplate a trip over the Holmfirth Road later.

Wow, it seems the snow only really fell at the highest elevations now, most other areas having sleet. Looks like it was a rain and sleet event here and the band has almost gone through now. Metoffice app ended up having it pretty much bang on in the end.

The models have had a shocker, band came earlier and is pushing through quicker, the one time we needed it to slow down and it speeds up, really unfortunate
