Not been the worst winter I can remember 2nd week of December was 1st notable snow 17 cm so 1yr old is of to a good start, 1st notable amounts for our 4 yr old also. Looking ahead did anyone read this lol.

Conditions not good for snow at this moment in time with an air temperature of 4C and a dewpoint of 2C

Regarding articles about mini ice ages I think it's a bit pointless trying to predict these things. Assuming a scientists words were not twisted I'm not entirely sure how even a scientist could realistically predict a 'mini ice age'. We can't use the past as an analogue as things are a bit different now.

Latest hirlam shows heavy snowfall throughout for north west england!!even as far south as the midlands!!keeps low to the south before clearing away eastwards!!

Sure I heard thunder before could be my imagination. Some light precipitation is falling.. wind is quite gusty. It's rain with some hail mixed
