The met office forecast mentions rain turning to snow tomorrow evening.

 Temperature has been fluctuating a bit last few hours, currently -3.8°C, seems to be falling a bit now though so maybe we might make -4 before sunrise.

I can confirm that Carol on BBC Breakfast is saying they are keeping an eye on the possibility of snow for the Wednesday evening rush hour across NW England.. 

Seems a bit of a ramp to me but the risk must be there.

Just having a quick look at this and the possibilities are there.

At 1800 tomorrow DP are around -2 and uppers are at -5 my concern is with a westerly 

Winds the uppers will be modified some what obviously other factors come into play.

One thing for sure if Dianne says rain,then dust down the sledge and tell the kids it' going

To snow again
