I think Thursday is looking promising for high ground. Proper westerly wind!

Yes joe there wil be no escaping heavy showers wed !! The higher hills around could get plastered!

Still thinking 300m is going to be needed at this juncture..

Agreed. Although remember however that as pressure is much lower you can get away with slightly milder 850’s.

I’m going to keep an eye but I’m not expecting anything here.

Bored.com

fed up saying I'm cold

fed up saying I've no snow

fed up saying it's gonna snow tonight telling everyone on the street to park their cars at the top as we are on a hill and then looking like I'm from another planet the next day

when there is zilch lying on the ground

Patio in sunshine has caused condensing of snow and sheet ice... icicles on south facing side of house.... put lots of warm water out and feed for birds.... think they liked it as it was busy afternoon for them.... blue jay, woodpecker, yellow hammer, robins, blue tits.... also worked from home today and yesterday... joys of being self employed...

Haha snap... We have blue tits and a wren that tap on our kitchen window if we’ve not put food out and it’s empty... also they are eating bugs around the windows I think... the midges and mosquitos and spiders..

She’s been the nw presenter for what seems a lifetime as she presented when I lived in the Isle of Man in the late 90s/early 2000s.... can’t they get a snow loving reasonable presenter....

Maximum of -1c here today and the first of what hopefully will be many ice days over the coming few months.

not hopeful for seeing snow on Wednesday, Thursday or whatever day it is, even at my altitude.

no science behind that, just not convinced of anything other than cold rain.
