METO Just extended snow warning until 23.55 this evening.

maybe the ICON Was correct.

Still have patchy snow cover on some surfaces around here mostly from yesterdays snow but compared to the midlands etc it's not been amazing but good things come to those who wait.

Snowing again here now. Looking at the radar Manchester is under the last finger of precipitation that stretches towards the coast.

Just watched the local forecast. Tomorrow night could easily turn out to be our coldest night in several years with -12c a possibility in some rural areas. Hopefully the nearby Rochdale canal will ice over. I will be happy with a -6c here.
