No we missed most of them up in Bacup and last nights continuous snow from about 7pm until after midnight only added a few millimetres to the cm I already had.

Must have caught a bit more here. Not a great deal, but will be nice walking through the village to see Santa at garden centre with the kids - looks just like it should!

Yep, very light snow here too. Not sticking but nice to see all the same.

It looked like it was clearing up with the cloud thinning but cloud has rethickened and snowflakes falling again in breeze.

We're getting larger flakes now pepped up abit

Think I'll give work a miss tomorrow. Told everyone to expect 20cm + when the amber warnings were issued.

Think I've counted about 5 snow flakes so far.:nea:

Time for a pint me thinks, that's if I can get through the 0.5cm drift near the front gate.

Feel more at home here today! After about 1cm yesterday, we've really hardly added anything. Always do badly from these set-ups, even March 2013 didn't deliver.

There's barely anything here now. Just a light dusting that's melted already. Funnily enough we were under an amber warning that disappeared at 9am. Light snow predicted for this afternoon. London will end up with more snow than us. I'm struggling to remember the last time a significant snow event predicted actually materialised?

Look how far north it’s span up the east coast. Wouldn’t surprise me if we were the only region snowless come tomorrow

I have actually got light snowfall in Swinton, Salford right now, nothing to shout about of course but hey ho! My family down south have had a pasting, I was meant to be there this weekend but my automatic car got stranded trying to get up an icy hill out of my close yesterday in our 1cm of snow, so I didn't make it. I thought a snow day would make up for it, but it turns out they got it instead..... if I don't laugh, I'll cry.... (haha)
