The snow is very light now.. I think we've had our maximum amount here today.. it will peeter out soon. But even with sugar coating it does look pretty.

Think I would be going mad if I was back home at Liverpool now.

There's a distinct band within the band, the leading edge is pivoting around Chester. I think that's it before it slowly slips away.

I am really surprised Crewe is still in the Amber area considering the shift southwards and what seems to be only light stuff falling?  @CreweCold what's your thoughts on the warning?  I'm driving back at dinnertime so that will be interesting.

Correction south of the amber warning takes it practically out of our region totally.

Got a nice covering here mate. Trees are all white and cars are skidding down the side roads. Doesn't look much on radar but it's covered everything.

Chester only 10 miles to the south.is getting heavy snow and some depth. Shows you the boundary. So perhaps if your snow starved in Liverpool... Get down to Chester

The odd speck of a snow flake i thibk.

Could even be what fell yesterday blowing off the roof.

Either way it's not enough to build a snowman.

Really? Amazing, great stuff. Looks like it's at or below freezing all day there too. Can't wait to see it. Please keep us updated.

'course now the met office radar is playing up as everybody wakes up and starts to visit it :nea:

Not that i'm interested now, it's sinking southwards and I've had better snow events when I've emptied my freezer.  Breakfast, bit of shopping then decorating.  Midlands & Wales look like the prime spot today.
