North West England Regional Weather Discussion - 09/12/2017 Onwards

Comparing Euro 4 at 6am and actual radar. The radar has north Wales coast covered but Euro 4 at that time doesn't. It looks as though Euro 4 is a touch too south.

Nothing in Aigburth south Liverpool . Just dropped the mrs at the airport and it's bloody cold and very cloudy but nothing falling . Here's hoping but reckon we have missed the boat on this one

I think the whole system has ground to a halt about 15 miles to the N. Doesn't seem to be getting too much further N than Northwich.

Yes, It's definitely still creeping northward on the radar.

Yep nothing marginal about this. It's sticking straight away here too. Looks very pretty out there already as we have a sugar dusting. Cars covered and roofs starting to fill in. Not bad for what is light snow really.

This is brilliant. Nothing overly heavy but not having to have it torrential for it to stick is just wonderful. Even light snow can accumulate under the right conditions
